Mini Cabinet Reshuffle

Today, Malaysia Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced mini cabinet reshuffle. The changes will start effect on 4 June 2010(Friday). The changes as below:

• Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha appointed Transport Minister replacing Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat.

• Datuk Chor Chee Heung appointed Housing and Local Government Minister. The post was previously held by Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha.

• YB Chua Tee Yong appointed Deputy Agriculture and Agro-based Industries Minister.

• Senator Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai appointed Deputy Finance Minister.

• Senator Gan Ping Sieu appointed Deputy Youth and Sports Minister replacing YB DatukWee Jeck Seng.

• Senator Datuk Maglin Dennis D'Cruz appointed Deputy Information, Communications and Culture Minister.

• Datuk G. Palanivel appointed Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister.

• Datuk Richard Riot appointed Deputy Foreign Minister.

• Datuk Rohani Abdul Karim appointed Deputy Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Minister.

• YB Jelaing Mersat appointed Deputy Transport Minister replacing DatukRobert Lau Hui Chew who had passed away on April.
  

• Datuk Lee Chee Leong appointed Deputy Home Minister.

• Senator Heng Seai Kie appointed Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister. The post was previously held by Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun who had resigned on April.

CPA Undergraduate Conference 2010

This morning my housemates and I have joined CPA AUSTRALIA Undergraduate Conference 2010. This year the theme of the conference is The Ultimate Entrepreneurship Challenge. CPA AUSTRALIA Undergraduate Conference 2010 started around 9a.m. However, we need arrive at 8a.m for the registration and changing our T-shirt to conference T-shirt.

After I joined the conference today, I felt a little tired but I am Happy with it. This is because I have learned something from the business which is to become a leader we need learn from mistake, how to make our Biz Plan successful and accept by investors and etc. However, the conference also got bored part which is the Forum Session and Time to Shine- Reveal Your Business Idea. In forum session, the invited guests only talk about their experiences which this part not attract me to listen. For Time to Shine- Reveal Your Business Idea part, it is because the sound system problem or the sound of the speaker not loud enough. I can’t hear what the groups have been presented in front. Lastly, we have given a gift bag before we dismiss. I also have attached some picture about the conference in below.

Sibu by-election

Yesterday, Sibu had a by-election. The seat that competed was Sibu parliamentary seat. Mr. Wong Ho Leng from Democratic Action Party (DAP) had won the Sibu parlimentary seat. The result was Mr. Wong Ho Leng had obtained 18,845 votes while his challengers Mr. Robert Lau Hui Yew from Barisan Nasional (BN) obtained only 18,447 votes and Independent Mr. Narawi Haron obtained only 232 votes. In total, Mr. Wong Ho Leng had won 398 votes. This also means that Mr. Wong Ho Leng from DAP is the new Sibu Member of Parliament (MP).

Sibu MP and Malaysia Deputy Transport Minister dies

Just now, my friend told me that Sibu Member Parliament- Datuk Robert Lau Hui chew who also our Malaysia deputy transport minister had death this morning. I though they just kidding with me. However when I check whether got any news about the death of Datuk Robert Lau at internet, it confirms that Datuk Robert Lau was death this morning. The reason he death was because he got liver cancer and he death at the age 67.

First Week of another New Semester (4th sem)

This week is my first week for another new semester. This semester is my fourth semesters in Swinburne Sarawak. In this semester, I have found that Swinburne have make improvement for enrolment tutorial class. I think this is the first improvement that Swinburne had makes that let me feel happy with it. This time the Swinburne ask all the students enroll their tutorial class through the system call ALLOCATE PLUS (Allocate +). We just need access to the system and pick the tutorial time that we want and this system is first come first serve basis. In overall, I really satisfy with my time-table.
