This morning match was the first match for Arsenal King- Theirry Henry after he agreed to return to Arsenal FC as player until the end of the February. The match was Arsenal FC against Leeds United. Theirry Henry was come on to the match on 68' minutes with the substitution of Chamakh. He has scored a goal after he had entering the field for 10 minutes which is 78' minutes. This goal is also the only goal that Arsenal FC has score in the match and it has make Arsenal FC qualify to next round which is against Aston Villa.

Permai Trip

The last two day before year 2011 end, my friends and I have a trip to Permai Beach in Kuching. This is my first time to have trip with them and I think this will be the last time also because all of us will graduate soon and we will start to find our own life after graduate. We went to Permai Beach at morning time which is after our breakfast. On the way to Permai Beach, we have meet serious problem which is none of us know the way to go to Permai Beach and none of us go to search in Google map. Luckily that time one of my friend son tong call his friend to ask the way. Finally, we arrived at Permai Beach at around 1:45p.m. When we arrive, we check in first and went to our cabin. After we put our things in the cabin, we have a rest for a while before we went to the beach and pool for having fun. At night time, we have a barbecue. When we want to start our BBQ, the weather suddenly change from sunny day to raining day. We quickly move our BBQ things and foods to out cabin corridor. The foods that we have barbecue are chicken wings (2kg) and fish (1kg). After this, we also have our junk foods and start playing game until mid night. On the second day, we wake up early and go for our buffet breakfast at Permai Beach Cafe. After having our breakfast, we went to beach and pool to take a walk. After that, we went back to our cabin and my friends start to play game and I decide to continue my sleep. Until around 12p.m, it is the time for us to check out.

I think I will not forget this trip because this is the last trip in my uni life and during this trip we really have a lot of fun which this fun will not be forgettable in my life.

Robin Van Persie Scoops Double Barclays Awards

Yesterday, Barclays Awards Panel has announced that Robin Van Persie has won the October Barclays Player Award. This is the third time Robin Van Persie won the Baclays Player of the Month award since he joined Arsenal FC at May, 2004. Previously he has claimed the award at Nov 2005 and Oct 2009. Besides that, he also the First Player to score 10 goals in Premier League this season. This have make him wins another award which is Barclays Golden Boots '10 goals' landmark award.

In this two days, Arsenal FC have two good news which are Arsenal FC have completed their third signing on 08 August 2011 and Ryo Miyaichi granted work permit to play for Arsenal FC. This means that Ryo Miyaichi able to represent Arsenal FC in the coming Barclays Premier League and other matches. The player that Arsenal has signed is Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain. Oxlade Chamberlain, 17 year olds, from Southampton (Championship Club). He also regarded as one of England's most promising young player. Today is a big day for my Sibu church- Sacred Heart Cathedral Sibu. The reason is because there will be sacerdotal ordination for two deacons which are Deacon Fabian Kong and Deacon Simon Lau. This also means that there will be two new local priests serve in Sibu Diocese after tomorrow night. Besides that, this mass is the First High Mass that I give my services as Altar Server after I have made the decision to leave the Guild in 26 December 2010. I still remember the reason that I want to leave the guild last time. However, when I heard there will be ordination mass on 29 June 2011 I suddenly feel like want to rejoin the guild and provide my service again. I think this may be due to my heart never leaving the guild and my dream. What is my dream? I think the only dream that I really want to achieve is to become a priest. I know that this dream will be very hard to achieve because I know that my family especially my parents will not allow me to become a priest. Anyway, I would like to congratulate both of them and hope that they will become a good priest in future.

This few days, I don’t know why I suddenly become so EMO. I got lot things that want to say but every time I only know to keep it in my heart. After I think, I think the only way to speak it out is speak at here. Below are the words that in my heart:

For club committees:

Sometime I really not satisfy the way you all doing a job. The thing that I don’t like the most is you all keep changing the concept and end out many things that have done before need to be cancelled. I think this is like pour people hard work and waste people time. Besides that, there are many things that you all not confirm yet but you all have go to the next step already.

For my friends:

I know sometime I might say something that I make u all not happy. Sometime, I really want to make apologies to u all but I don’t have the brave to do it.

For my group mate:

I know I not a good leader. I really don’t know how to start our team assignment. I need the help from you all but every time when I want to said it out I saw you all look like not motivated it make me feel that every though I said it out I will also useless.

For my beloved sister:

Sometime I don’t know how to answer mum when she ask me whether you got go to church or not. I really don’t know whether I need to said true or cheat mum again. I always think how well if every time I don’t tell lie.

I always wonder how well if I have the brave to say it out especially to the relevant person. However, I also feel happy now because at least I have spoken it out now in here. It is better than I put all of it in my heart.

Hi, I think this is the first time I share about CPA Australia Student Charter Swinburne Sarawak in my blog. I still remember in my last post I have posted about my sad feeling of can't get a thing that I want. The thing that I want was I was losing in the post that I want. However, I feel more glad on it because I think if I have get the post I want this semester I will very very busy. Even though I can’t get the post I want, I will still stay in Board of committee and will contribute what I have to the club. I still remember the situation on last semester how we work together, play together, having fun together, “slogan” and many others in my heart. I think this is the most fun and interesting committee that I even met. Besides that, I also feel happy become a part in committee because I really learn a lot from them like the correct steps in organizing an event, way to communicate with others, the true attitude that a committee should have and many others which I really don’t learn it when I become Organizing Chairperson in church events or when I become committee in my secondary school clubs. With these reasons, I can say if I quit this club just because of the small matter I will regret forever in my life. Lastly, I also want to help CPA Australia Student Charter Swinburne Sarawak to do some promotion especially on the coming events which have been confirmed. Sad Feeling

In the first day of new semester, I already have a sad feeling. The reason that I have this feeling was I don’t get the post that I dreamed. After I think for one day, I think the main reason may be is my fault. This is because I didn’t think carefully before I submit it last time. In addition, until yesterday morning I just realized that I had done big wrong decision and this may make me loss the post that I dreamed. When the result was announced, I found that what I have worried had become true and at that time I really feel disappointed and feel very sad until now. The reason that I feel very sad is not only I don’t get the post I want, it’s also include that the post that I dream for so long time was go to ones of my best friend. Another reason that I think is may be due to I really don’t have the capability for the post and they may think my friend is more suitable for the post. I really hate myself at that time why I will done such wrong decision and why I still remember this until now. Anyway, I feel happy for my friend and hope he will done well which this will prove that he is suitable for the post. I will also continue to do the job as best as I can that I need to be responsible for it and I hope I will forget the sad feeling as soon as possible.

My first week Internship experience

This week is my first week I start my Internship in one’s of the audit firm in Sibu. I have work in Hii & Lee audit firm, Sibu branch. In my first week Internship, I think it is a wonderful week or start for me. This is because I have followed two seniors goes for audit. I have followed them go for audit starts my second day of Internship until today (7/1/2011). During the audit process, I just notice that I have learned some of it before. At that time, I starts feel regret because some of the subjects I don’t study properly or fully understand especially Auditing. Anyway, I feel happy work with them because they really teach me a lot of things and I have learn it or make me more understand about what I have study before in Auditing. Besides that, I also have learned a lot extra knowledge which not teaches in books. Lastly, I hope that I will have a wonderful, nice and fun Internship in the rest 1 ½ months in Hii & Lee audit firm.

Wonderful Week

Last week was a special week for me. The reason is last week not only my study week, it also my third sister weeding. Last Sunday, My sisters and I went back to Sibu for preparing my third sister weeding. My third sister actual wedding date was at 5 December 2010 in Kuching while in Sibu the weeding date was on 2 December 2010. During the Study week, this is the first time I do my final exam revision in my hometown- SIBU and also the most wonderful and busy week for me since I started study in Swinburne three years ago. At 2 December 2010, my third sister had start with the Foochow traditional wedding ceremony then goes to church for the blessing ceremony. At night, we have our wedding dinner in Tanahmas Hotel Sibu. At 5 December 2010, my third sister weeding ceremony began at Riverside Majestic hotel at around 5:45a.m. The ceremony start with bridegroom fetch bride in hotel then went to bridegroom house for the Hing Hua traditional wedding ceremony. After that, we have our breakfast at my sister in law house then we go back to hotel which is also part of the ceremony. At noon, my parents and grandmother went to my sister in law house for lunch whiles me, my sisters and my younger brother having our own activity. At night, we were having a weeding dinner in Riverside Majestic hotel. In overall, I really have a great week in last week. However, there only bad thing for me because I need to rush back to home at that night for doing my final revision on auditing which will be tested on 6 December 2010. Lastly, I really need to give special thanks to TANAHMAS HOTEL SIBU for providing so wonderful dinner during my sister weeding dinner in Sibu and my sister in law family for providing the delicious foods to me and my family in Kuching.

Malaysian Accounting Student Convention (MASC) 2010

Few days ago, I have been told by my friends that there is Malaysian Accounting Students Convention (MASC). MASC is the largest convention that gathers all accounting undergraduates from both public and private institutions in Malaysia. They also told me that the MASC will be held from 14 December 2010 to 17 December 2010 in University of Malaya. Throughout these 4 days 3 nights, MASC will have 3 talks 1 forum, KL explore race and convention dinner. At first, I think that this is a good chance for me because I never join so large convention before in my life. However, my friends also to me that Swinburne Sarawak have Final Examination at that time and during that time is the second week of examination. When I know that the time have clash with my final examination, I only can choose not to attend the MASC. Until yesterday, my friends told me that they will ask lecturer for help in checking the final exam timetable. So that, If I already finish my examination on first week I able to join the convention. After my friend told me about this, I have changed my decision which I will do the registration first and make the payment later. After I finished my class, I go to do my registration in masc10.blogspot.com and send my resume to them. Finally, at night I noticed that I have received a confirmation letter from MASC organizing committee. I really hope that I will able to join MASC 2010 and I really feel excited on it.

Self- Reflection for Young Apprentice Program (YAP)

Few days ago, I have involved in organizing Young Apprentice Program (YAP) which this program was also organized by CPAASC. Young Apprentice Program is only for 2 days and 1 night event and it held in Lime Tree hotel, Kuching. After the YAP finish, we have a postmortem meeting. During the meeting, CPAASC president have give the comment to all of the committee. She have told us what is a truly sacrifice means, ask us be more alert, more dependent and etc. She also asks all the committee to do self-reflection. In these two days, I have made my own reflection. I found out that I really learned a lot of things from them especially Edina (CPAASC Club President). All the things are the things that I have never learned before in the events that I have organized in church before. Besides that, I also found out my weakness. I found out that the monopoly game will success if I really be serious enough and I have not do the sacrifice enough to help my monopoly game leader to prepare and the time when the game is in underway. If not, she will not be blamed or commented badly by the participants. These really make me feel sorry to her. Besides that, I also found out I may be a person who cannot keep secret or a person who like to share everything to people without consider whether it can be share or not. This time I really have share something which cannot share it to wrong wrong persons. Anyway, through become a committee member in CPAASC I really taught a lot of thing and I also hope that I will not repeat my mistake again next time.

Last Monday night, my roommate told me that CPAASC Board has announced the new committee through e-mail. When I checked my mail, I has received mail and informed by CPAASC that I was chosen by them. At that time, I really don’t felt happy about it because the mail also informed me that I need to attend a meeting in Wednesday and the time for meeting is clashed with my another activity which is Tree Planting activity. At Wednesday, I have chosen to attend the CPAASC Board meeting and not to attend the Tree Planting activity. During the meeting, they have announced that this semester is a busy semester because they will have a lot of meeting and activity to organize. After the meeting, I still not felt happy even though I have become part of the board. On Thursday, my assignment teammate also asked to me why I want to become CPAASC committee member and he also mentioned that after I become CPAASC committee member I will not free and I may not finish my assignment in time and others. At that time, I don’t reply him however when I walk home and I think I start felling regret to become CPAASC committee member. The reason that I regret was will I able to manage my time probably and some problem which my assignment teammate have said to me. At that night, I discuss this with my roommate and ex-roommate. They have given me many good advices. I have joined the meeting that CPAASC held on Friday and I also help CPAASC in Swinburne Carnival on Saturday. In these 2 days, I attended both activities as Committee member. After yesterday (Saturday), NOW I would say that I NOT REGRET to become CPAASC COMMITTEE MEMBER. This is because I really feel happy after gathering or working with them after these two days. Anyway, I would like to thanks my roommate and ex-roommate—Son Tong and Adrian Toh for their good advice and thanks CPAASC to chosen me to become a part in CPAASC committee member.

Today, 16 September is Malaysia Day. Malaysia Day is a day to celebrate the establishment of Malaysia Federation. Malaysia was formed through joining together of Malaya, Sarawak, Sabah and Singapore. However, Singapore had retreat from Malaysia in year 1965. This year is the first year that Malaysia government listed Malaysia Day as Federal Public Holiday. Lastly, I would like to wish all Malaysian Happy Malaysia Day.

After I joined the conference today, I felt a little tired but I am Happy with it. This is because I have learned something from the business which is to become a leader we need learn from mistake, how to make our Biz Plan successful and accept by investors and etc. However, the conference also got bored part which is the Forum Session and Time to Shine- Reveal Your Business Idea. In forum session, the invited guests only talk about their experiences which this part not attract me to listen. For Time to Shine- Reveal Your Business Idea part, it is because the sound system problem or the sound of the speaker not loud enough. I can’t hear what the groups have been presented in front. Lastly, we have given a gift bag before we dismiss. I also have attached some picture about the conference in below.

Sibu by-election

Yesterday, Sibu had a by-election. The seat that competed was Sibu parliamentary seat. Mr. Wong Ho Leng from Democratic Action Party (DAP) had won the Sibu parlimentary seat. The result was Mr. Wong Ho Leng had obtained 18,845 votes while his challengers Mr. Robert Lau Hui Yew from Barisan Nasional (BN) obtained only 18,447 votes and Independent Mr. Narawi Haron obtained only 232 votes. In total, Mr. Wong Ho Leng had won 398 votes. This also means that Mr. Wong Ho Leng from DAP is the new Sibu Member of Parliament (MP).
